which is best architecture design approach for simple login page application?

I am just beginner in architecture. I just curious to understand what will be the best architecture approach if i have to build very very simple application like have one page which loads some static content or simple login page.

Considering we have frameworks like struts , spring and hibernate. Do we need to use them to build some simple application or just html and servlet is sufficient ?

What will be the best approach Please help me to understand and develop my architecture skill.
